Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and dedicated Controller in the machinery manufacturing industry, based in Richmond, Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various staff members, managing banking relationships, and handling financial statement preparation, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee staff including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Receptionist, HR, and Cost Analyst

• Manage banking relationships to ensure smooth financial operations

• Handle month and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Prepare financial statements in a timely manner for review by senior management

• Facilitate inter-company activity across multiple entities

• Collaborate with senior management and C-suite executives on financial matters

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient financial management

• Implement and manage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions

• Handle accounting functions including auditing and budget processes

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role within the Machinery Manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services.

• Knowledge of DCAA regulations and requirements.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems and ERP Solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Accounting Functions.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven experience in Auditing.

• Familiarity with Budget Processes.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
