Robert Half Financial Analyst - Entry Level in Rochester, New York

Description

We are in search of a meticulous and systematic Financial Analyst - Entry Level to become part of our team. This role entails processing customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries within the Non-Profit industry. The position is located in ROCHESTER, New York, United States, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy

• Handle and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts to identify any irregularities

• Take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments from customers

• Use Accounting Software Systems for various financial tasks

• Utilize Cl Programming and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in daily operations

• Handle Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Manage Check Processing and foster Analyst relations

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is essential.

• Experience with About Time software would be beneficial.

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions is required.

• Hands-on experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is expected.

• Proficiency in Check Processing is a must.

• Experience in Analyst relations would be considered a plus.

• An understanding of the non-profit industry and its financial aspects is necessary.

• Entry-level candidates should have a relevant degree and/or equivalent experience in a similar role.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are crucial.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required.

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work is expected.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is vital.

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, are necessary.

• The ability to maintain confidentiality and act in the organization's best interest is crucial.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and changes in financial laws and regulations is expected.

• The ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively is required.
