Robert Half HR Generalist in Rocklin, California
Description We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team located in Rocklin, California. This role will primarily focus on managing leave of absences and will involve regular interaction with the HR team and business leaders across the west coast. This position offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage leave of absences, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with HR leadership team and business leaders on leave-related matters
• Contribute to the overall HR team by covering for team members on leave
• Utilize Smartsheets and other computer programs to manage and track leave data
• Handle day-to-day HR duties, including compliance, employee relations, benefit functions, and compensation administration
• Provide training and support to other team members as necessary
• Work in a hybrid environment, requiring presence in the office at least three times a week
• No travel required but may be needed between Rocklin and Roseville occasionally. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
• Proven experience in Compliance and Employee Relations
• Proficiency in using Smartsheet
• Familiarity with Leave of Absence (LOA) protocols and Leave Administration
• Adeptness in navigating and managing various HR generalist roles and responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• High degree of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Capacity to adapt quickly to changes and challenges in a fast-paced work environment
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
