Description

Bookkeepers oversee a company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. Job Duties:
Maintain financial records by accurately recording daily transactions.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of accounts.
Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Generate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Maintain an organized system for filing and archiving financial documents.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
Assist in preparing for audits and liaise with auditors when necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Ethical and trustworthy behavior when handling financial information.
