Robert Half Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in San Francisco, California

Description We are in search of a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role is primarily involved in coordinating with our Security and IT teams, with a focus on process improvement and workload management. The position involves working in an Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall environment, with Asana as the main project management tool. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects related to the Security team and IT team, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

• Implement project management methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall to streamline work processes.

• Utilize Asana for project management tasks, including tracking project progress, assigning tasks, and managing workflows.

• Oversee project plans and cost accounting, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately and not exceeding the budget.

• Categorize incoming work and measure input funnels to effectively distribute tasks among team members.

• Monitor individual team members' workloads and determine the most efficient assignment of tasks.

• Identify and manage dependencies within the project to prevent potential bottlenecks.

• Facilitate meetings to discuss project progress, potential issues, and solutions.

• Implement a framework for separating ad-hoc tasks, fires, and planned work to increase efficiency.

• Utilize skills in budget processes, Asana, Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall to effectively manage projects and drive process improvement. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager or Sr. Consultant

• Extensive knowledge and experience in budget processes

• Proficiency in using Asana for project management

• Familiarity with Agile project management methodology

• Experience in using Kanban and Waterfall methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
