Robert Half Staff Accountant in San Francisco, California
Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant role in San Francisco, California. This role primarily involves working on General Ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Account Reconciliations, and Bank Reconciliations. The individual will also provide support to a team of employees and contractors. This role will start off as a contract position, with the possibility to convert to a full-time employee once hired!
Responsibilities:
• Handle Accounts Payable tasks, including entering invoices, coding, processing payments, weekly check runs
• Act as main point of contact for Vendor inquiries, new vendor setup
• Perform General Ledger tasks including journal entries and assisting the Controller with month-end close
• Perform Account Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations
• Act as backup to payroll processing
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or 5+ years experience in an AP role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and plugins, such as Bill.com, Expensify, SAP Concur
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
