Description

We are looking for a Contracts Admin + Paralegal with a focus on real estate to join our team based in SAN RAMON, California. This position will be involved in various aspects of our business reporting to the General Counsel. You will be instrumental in handling contracts related to construction, commercial and residential real estate, and leasing, among others.

Responsibilities:

· Work directly with the General Counsel and other team members in the negotiation and drafting of leasing documents.

· Assess, update, and implement new processes and procedures.

· Assist in standardizing commercial real-estate leasing, construction, consulting and other agreements.

· Manage, maintain and expedite leasing, financing and other real estate-related documents through execution.

· Create and maintain a contracts database.

· Assist with general compliance and other paralegal functions as well as administrative duties.

Requirements

Requirements:

· 5+ years of commercial real estate experience.

· Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certificate a plus.

· Must be familiar with commercial leases and knowledgeable in all levels of lease administration and negotiation for commercial leases.

Familiarity with financing documents preferable.

· Strong project management skills.

· Familiarity with document retention programs a plus.

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

· Commitment to professionalism and collegiality.

· Must be (or willing to become) a Notary Public.
