Description Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) detail oriented at a growing company. In this role, your responsibilities will include entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. The team is rapidly growing and needs a self-starter to join the accounting team! You will process full-cycle AP and handle many invoices per week while paying close attention to detail. Your responsibilities
Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts
Provide information as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders
Validate documents and codes
Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced
Follow standard procedures to execute general accounting tasks
Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required
Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Demonstrated knowledge of Collect Outstanding
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired
Experience with Billing Collection
Collecting Payments experience
Proficiency in Cash Collections
Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Adeptness in Collection Processes
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
Current and relevant ERP system experience
