Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Sarasota, Florida. The individual will be responsible for processing high volume, multi-location accounts payable and reviewing, approving, and paying employee expense reports. This role is situated in an office environment and will also require proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.
Responsibilities:
• Process high volume, multi-location accounts payable
• Review, approve, and pay employee expense reports
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Use Microsoft Office software to manage and organize data
• Monitor accounts to ensure all payments are up to date
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Possession of at least one year of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar
• Proficiency in handling Expense Reports
• Demonstrable skills in using MS Word and MS Excel
• Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Must have a strong ethical stance towards the confidentiality of financial information.
