Description Robert Half is looking for a Tax Accountant to join our client! The Tax Accountant will file federal and state tax returns and work with financial and income tax statements, ensuring they comply with tax laws. This is the role for a deadline driven Tax Accountant with excellent attention to detail and organization.

Oversee tax preparation work that is outsourced
Guide management on the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
Ensure client compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations
Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database
Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
Accurately assemble annual and quarterly tax reports
Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings Requirements - CPA highly preferred
Strong time management skills preferred
Outstanding organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
2+ years of public or corporate tax
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required
