Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Construction Bookkeeper in Seattle, Washington, United States. This role involves working within the construction industry, specifically dealing with multiple small businesses under our umbrella. The Bookkeeper will handle tasks related to bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and general ledger management, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Resolving customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Conducting account reconciliation for various workflows

• Managing accounts payable and receivable

• Performing bank reconciliations

• Using Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks

• Performing month-end close activities

• Handling payroll responsibilities

• Using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Applying knowledge of the construction industry to daily tasks

• Handling collections and commercial construction projects

• Managing construction projects accounting

• Maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping is required.

• Must possess strong Data Entry skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Experience in Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks is required.

• Familiarity with the Construction Industry is a must.

• Ability to handle Collections effectively.

• Experience in Commercial Construction Projects is desirable.

• Knowledge of Construction Projects - Accounting is beneficial.

• Must have a good understanding of General Ledger operations.

• Ability to prepare Financial Statements is necessary.
