Anna Parson at Robert Half is working with a Financial Services firm seeking an ACCOUNTING MANAGER to join their strong team.
As the Accounting Manager, you will:
Manage the month end close, all related financial, compliance and management reporting packages
Build budgets and forecasts and prepare financial and variance analyses
Demonstrate your strong knowledge of GAAP
Lead various projects and be the lead on external audits
Supervise and develop staff
Seeking an Accounting Manager with 2+ years of staff supervisory experience, strong communication and analytical skills including a strong grasp of Excel including pivots and lookups. Bachelor degree required.

Requirements
CPA a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Deep technical background in public accounting (GAAP)
Management reporting experience preferred
Deep understanding of compliance
Financial reporting experience required
Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
Ability to multitask effectively
Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
