Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in the healthcare, hospitals and social assistance industry, based in South Amboy, New Jersey, as a part time HR Recruiter. The primary focus of this role is to fill staffing and recruitment needs by applying best practices for talent acquisition. This role is a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities: • Identify staffing and recruitment needs and implement best practices for talent acquisition • Serve as the initial point of contact for both exempt and non-exempt candidates, managing recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes • Partner with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and coordinate recruitment activities and scheduling of interviews • Develop and maintain relationships with local colleges and other community resources for cultivating prospective candidates • Attend job fairs, college and university career days, and local community recruitment events • Perform and arrange all required pre-employment background checks, ensuring all checks are completed and documented prior to the start date of new employees • Prepare new permanent packets for newly hired staff and communicate information regarding employee benefit programs and other important employee-related information • Maintain ongoing contact with the candidate during the onboarding process, ensuring a positive candidate experience • Maintain a database of staff available to work on a per diem or on-call basis • Maintain compliance with all applicable Federal and State employment law and regulations, as well as applicable regulatory standards • Ensure employee confidentiality at all times • Possess solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, applicant tracking systems, and ADP Workforce Now. Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proven experience in full cycle recruiting within the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry.

• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).

• Sound knowledge of labor legislation and hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Skype, structured).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong decision-making skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to develop strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
