Description
Robert Half, a premier staffing agency, is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team on a contract basis. Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
Verify invoice details, such as quantities, prices, and payment terms
Obtain proper approvals for invoices and ensure compliance with company policies
Prepare and perform payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting as needed
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and files
Requirements
Previous experience (3 years) in accounts payable or related finance role
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
