Your responsibilities
Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful plant-wide operation
Reviewing deliverables of self and team
Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures, controls and methodologies
Complete tasks beyond formal job responsibilities
Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable and accounting staff
Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts
Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation if required and other departmental or company-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required
Give executive committee monthly financial reports
Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash
Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
Requirements
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller required
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
Manufacturing industry experience required
