Chris Preble from Robert Half is working on a career-building opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join an innovative company in Syracuse. This organization has a lot of stability and low turnover.
What you get to do
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports
Help prepare monthly flux analysis for management reporting
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Requirements
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
BA/BS in Accounting
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Excel Formulas experience
