Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and detail-focused Controller in Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting and analysis, overseeing month-end close processes, and conducting cost and margin analyses. This role provides an exciting opportunity for someone who is proficient in using a variety of accounting software systems and has a keen eye for capital management and cash flow analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the budgeting and analysis process to ensure financial efficiency.

• Managing month-end close processes for accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Supervising accountants to ensure adherence to accounting regulations and company policies.

• Conducting cost analysis to understand financial implications and suggest cost-effective solutions.

• Performing margin analysis to identify profitability and areas for potential improvement.

• Utilizing accounting software systems to manage and organize financial data.

• Managing capital effectively to ensure the company's financial health.

• Performing cash flow analyses to monitor company's liquidity.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.

• Ensuring compliance with auditing procedures and addressing any discrepancies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Proven track record of managing Accounting Functions

• Prior experience in Auditing

• Proficient in Budget Processes

• Proven ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred
