Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Web Developer in Tampa, Florida, 33609, United States. This role is critical in developing and maintaining websites, and handling a variety of Content Management Systems. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating extensive knowledge in web design and development.

Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Building and maintaining websites using a variety of Content Management Systems.

• Hand-coding XHTML pages and demonstrating extensive knowledge of CSS.

• Managing MySQL databases and understanding domain transfers, hosting accounts, and DNS settings.

• Using HTML5 and CSS to convert static design into a graceful user experience.

• Developing design concepts and layouts for a variety of creative projects using Flash, PHP, CSS, and Adobe Creative Suite programs.

• Designing concepts for websites, landing pages, and e-blasts (email marketing).

• Executing designs into a coded environment such as WordPress, HTML with CSS & PHP.

• Ensuring the site looks great not only on desktop but also translates onto mobile devices, including tablets.

• Designing and programming for a variety of Content Management Systems (CMS). Requirements • Proven experience as a Web Developer or relevant role in the field

• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)

• Demonstrated proficiency with HTML/CSS

• Understanding of layout aesthetics, and a knack for implementing them following modern design trends

• Hands-on experience with Content Management System (CMS)

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

• Familiarity with software like Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop

• Knowledge of modern web development tools and programming practices

• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong organizational and project management skills
