Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Tracy, California

Description We are looking for a meticulous and customer-focused Title Clerk to join our team. Based in Tracy, California, this role lies within the administrative realm of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming titles, maintaining high standards of accuracy, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming titles and ensure their transferability to the buyer in an efficient and accurate manner

• Provide excellent customer service by promptly and courteously resolving title issues or queries

• Handle incoming calls from dealer representatives regarding title issues or questions

• Maintain a professional demeanor and friendly disposition towards all customers and team members

• Ensure customer complaints are resolved in a friendly and courteous manner and escalate serious complaints when necessary

• Verify the details on titles such as the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), odometer reading, lien releases, and line of ownership

• Process payments for dealers, including counting checks, money orders, and cashier's checks and providing receipts

• Maintain knowledge of DMV laws and regulations as they relate to vehicle titles

• Work as part of a team, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment at all times

• Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee and customer accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word

• Experience in answering inbound calls, customer service, and data entry

• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls, as well as email correspondence

• Experience in scheduling appointments. Requirements

• Prior experience of 1 year or more as an Administrative Assistant

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls

• Excellent customer service skills

• Proficient in data entry tasks

• Skilled in email correspondence

• Experience in scheduling appointments

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
