Description Robert Half are looking for a Network Administrator to take on a new role at a company in the Wholesale Distribution industry that is growing quickly and seeking new talent. If you are a motivated problem solver and passionate about establishing and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, you could succeed in this role. Supporting the business, you will develop, administer and maintain the network infrastructure by making sure the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. You should be comfortable working with constantly changing software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems. Your commitment to ongoing education will be important for staying current and fully informed. This permanent opportunity is for a Network Administrator who will work in the Wadsworth, Ohio, area.
Your responsibilities in this role
Upgrading network software and hardware
Managing the operation of all local area networks and services related to wide area networks, following company policies and procedures
Troubleshooting and resolving issues regarding local area networks / wide area network, including performance and connectivity problems
Providing control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam Requirements - Highly capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues
Previous experience with production and on-call environments
VMware experience
Active Directory experience
Foundational knowledge in Group Policy
Windows Server 2019 experience
Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations
