Description
A nationally renowned litigation firm concentrating on complex civil matters is looking for an experienced associate attorney to join their team. If you are interested in joining a collaborative team who is always striving to deliver optimal results this could be the opportunity for you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California
• Independently manage a litigation caseload
• Conduct depositions
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
• Review and analyze discovery requests
• Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing
• Trial preparation and support
• Maintain accurate time records

Requirements
• Minimum of two (2) years or more of asbestos/toxic tort litigation experience
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
