Robert Half HR Generalist in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Washington, District of Columbia. This role is in the telecom industry and is based within an office environment. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for executing recruitment functions and handling various administrative duties within the HR department.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct recruitment activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.

• Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment.

• Support in maintaining HRMS and other HR databases.

• Utilize ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now tools to streamline HR processes.

• Oversee employee relations, ensuring a positive work environment.

• Implement and manage compensation administration processes.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant legislation.

• Manage benefit functions, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.

• Leverage ATS (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) for efficient applicant tracking.

• Use Ceridian HRMS for efficient human resources management. Requirements • Proven experience in the role of HR Generalist or similar HR role

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Competence in using HRMS and Ceridian software

• Ability to use About Time software effectively

• Strong understanding of Benefit Functions

• Experience in Compensation Administration

• Good knowledge of Compliance regulations and best practices

• Exceptional skills in Employee Relations

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes

• Decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

• Excellent knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
