My client is a mission-based nonprofit with a newly created role for a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting higher education programs including budget and administration. The Program Coordinator must have experience in higher education programs, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide logistical and administrative support to grant-funded projects, including budget creation and management, calendaring, travel arrangements, invoicing, and record-keeping.

• Manage event deadlines and tracking documents including speaker confirmations, preparation, procuring presentations and related needs

• Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects.

• Participate in raising national awareness and advocacy about sponsored Programs

Requirements

Requirements:

3 + years experience in a similar role with a Higher Education Institution or nonprofit

Proficient in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Excel

Excellent communication skills both written & verbal

Stable job history

BS/BA degree is preferred

Government Grants, Calendar Management, Academic Achievement
