As a Senior Accountant consultant, the types of projects you will work on include reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances, assessing internal controls including risk assessment and reviews of risk areas, assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses, maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules, and maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts. Additional responsibilities may include booking journal entries, preparing vouchers and making accounts payable payments, ensuring timely cash payments, preparing financial statements and support binders, preparing accounts receivable, and cash reconciliations. Requirements: The ideal interim Senior Accountant Consultant will have: - Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's Degree or CPA is a plus) - 5 plus years of full cycle general ledger accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and financial statement preparation - Experience with ERP systems is a plus (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Deltek) - Advanced Excel user (experience with macros, pivot tables, v-lookups)
