Description
Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing client in the recruiting for a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout the order and delivery process. Day-to-day will be answering customer inquiries through email and phone, maintaining accurate customer information in database, providing quotes and pricing, order entry, shipment tracking and delivery timeline communication. You will also assist cross-functionally with other departments including marketing and supply chain as well as responsible for ad hoc reporting and process improvement projects.

Requirements
Degree preferred, but open to a combination of relevant experience.
2+ years experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and empathetic approach.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
Proficient in using customer service software, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
