Description Robert Half is seeking a Property Accountant for our client! The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. This is the role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
What you get to do every day
Prepare financial statements and reporting packages
Support the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls
Assemble income statement and balance sheet analyses monthly for management reporting
Coordinate and examine financial data and report it in a clear, useful manner
Work up intricate account reconciliations and journal entries
Maintain reconciliation, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger
Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules Requirements - Sound understanding of industry specific accounting software
Dependability in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills in particular
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
Super organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must
