Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a fast-growing company. As the Accounting Assistant you will perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks to support the accounting and finance departments. Responsibilities include reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. If you have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, this is the Accounting Assistant opportunity for you!
What you get to do every day
Design the bookkeeping processes of the company
Settle financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
Collaborate with the Accounting team by creating and editing financial documents
Support administrative duties as necessary
Evaluate financial budgets and track expenses
Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary
Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account Requirements
Prior bookkeeping experience desired
Skilled in written and verbal communication, as well as strong time management abilities
High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet application highly desired
