Description

The Bookkeeper will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and managing day-to-day accounting tasks using QuickBooks and AgiLink software. This position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in bookkeeping principles, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in bookkeeping and a solid understanding of QuickBooks and AgiLink software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently using QuickBooks and AgiLink software.

  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

  • Prepare and process payroll using AgiLink software, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

  • Generate financial reports and summaries as needed to support decision-making and analysis.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.

  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues related to bookkeeping and accounting matters.

  • Stay informed about updates and enhancements to QuickBooks and AgiLink software, providing training and support to team members as needed.

  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in bookkeeping processes.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or related accounting role.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and AgiLink software is required.

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
