We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer for a law firm West Palm Beach, Florida on a remote basis. This role involves working remotely on a contract basis and is a crucial part of our team as it involves managing litigation cases and court conferences. This position requires a current New York Bar license and experience in deposition and mediation.

Responsibilities:

• Review files and determine necessary actions

• Handle court conferences effectively

• Utilize experience in deposition and mediation to resolve disputes

• Maintain accurate documentation of all legal proceedings

• Use litigation skills to represent clients in court

• Provide legal advice based on the review of case files

• Prepare and draft legal documents

• Conduct legal research to assist in case resolution

• Communicate effectively with clients and other legal professionals

• Ensure all legal actions are ethical and meet compliance standards

Requirements

• Must hold a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school

• Must hold a New York Bar license

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney/Lawyer in Civil Litigation and Plaintiff cases

• Proven experience in handling litigation cases

• Proficient in preparing legal documentation

• Experience in conducting and summarizing depositions

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must possess strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure

• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
