Description We are offering a position in the financial industry located in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. The role is a Data Entry Clerk with a focus on credit-related tasks. This position involves a short-term contract employment opportunity and requires skills in Filing, Microsoft Excel, and Document Scanning.
Responsibilities:
• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
• Handling filing, scanning, and organization tasks
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for accurate data entry
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records
• Monitoring customer credit accounts
• Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Resolving customer credit inquiries
• Applying AP/AR experience when necessary. Requirements • Proven experience in a data entry role or similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of formulas, charts, and pivot tables
• Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners and photocopiers
• Experience with document scanning and digital filing systems
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong typing skills and ability to enter data at a fast pace
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent education level
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with data entry software and database systems is a plus
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies to improve data entry processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data entry issues.
