We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Credit Specialist in Wilmington, Delaware! This role will have you working in the manufacturing industry where you will be tasked with maintaining and processing customer credit applications, handling credit inquiries, and monitoring customer credit accounts.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate credit and collection files for customer accounts.

· Liaison with customer to assist with misc. requests.

· Pull credit reports and obtain trade references for new or existing customers.

· Obtain credit memos from sales support, the order center or the billing department depending on the invoice issue.

· Rebill offsets and approved write offs.

· Research PO variances.

· Contact customers on past due invoices

· Assist Credit Specialist with customer payments when needed.

· Communicate cash app discrepancies to customer and need for payback.

Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of two years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Data Processing is necessary.

• Knowledge of Collection Processes is required.

• Experience in Credit, Credit Application, Credit Limit, and Credit Reports is essential.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are expected.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• Proficiency in using financial software and databases is essential.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Legal right to work in the United States.
