Description
Robert Half is looking to add an Accounting Clerk to their growing team, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity based in the Wilmore, Kentucky area will start off as a part-time position eventually growing into full time hours. What you get to do every day
Settle discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Support Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing
Transmit financial information to journals and ledgers
Produce statements and reports that require utilization of a wide range of sources
Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Order documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
Support Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and process daily invoices/credit
Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Bookkeeping experience desired
Command of QuickBooks
Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system
