Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a CFO/Controller to IMMEDIATELY support our client in the Woodland Hills area. This Executive Position will focus on customer needs while developing financial and process objectives for all facets of the company. Our finance department takes a unique approach to the electronic security business that analyzes company results and forecasts, while putting the customer first. Job Requirements The CFO is responsible for directing, supervising, analyzing, and coordinating the functions and activities of the Finance Department including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Apps, Billing, Collections and Order Entry, Financial Reporting including P&L; and Balance Sheets and Quarterly Board Reports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with IT, operations and sales personnel, to research and report all financial business processes, develop new system enhancements and answer questions. Recommend, establish and maintain financial policies, procedures and systems, including internal controls related to the finance, billing, payroll and accounts payable functions to meet company objectives. Provide a financial close process that will allow for internal management review of results by the fifth working day of the next month and the completion of the Board of Director package by the fifteenth of the month. Ensure all billing processes run in a timely manner to include both integrity and completeness. Manage and coordinate activities related to debt instruments, including monitoring compliance and working closely with investment bankers, rating agencies, maintaining strict adherence to bank covenants, lenders and potential lenders. Participate in the negotiation and implementation of contracts and renewals. Strive to identify cost reduction and profit enhancement methods within all metrics of the GHS business model. Budget development and tracking in correlation with company goals and fiscal calendar. Report to executive leadership, trends, and variables with significance to the qualitative and quantitative elements of the GHS business model. Required Skill Set: Must be PC literate with a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and expert Excel skills. Crystal Reports / Mastermind / Alarm Industry Billing Platforms Technical skills and experience in financial reporting and analysis, cash flow management, mergers and acquisitions, business processes, internal controls and system testing. Competence in project management skills. Ability to work a schedule that may include hours beyond 8-5 Monday through Friday. Ability to create, operate and analyze complex financial models. Ability to stratify Creation Multiple with markets and products. Ability to articulate and translate empirical data in relation to trends and competitive analysis. Ability to track and understand tax issues, including Sales and Use, Property, and Business taxes in multiple locations and states. Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance and eight to ten years of experience to include ten years experience in accounting or financial leadership. Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial and billing/collections operations preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPA certification required. CIA, CMA and/or CFM certifications preferred.
