Robert Half Credit/Collections Supervisor/Manager in Woodland Hills, California

Description

We are in search of a detail-oriented Credit and Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Woodland Hills, California This HYBRID (3 days work from home) role entails managing credit and collections processing activities for our US operations. Moreover, the position involves developing and implementing receivables policies and procedures, onboarding new customers, maintaining creditworthiness of existing customers, and managing cash applications using ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist VP/Senior Global Controller with:

  • Credit and Collections processing for US headquarters and US subsidiary locations

  • Assist in the development and execution of all US credit, collections, and receivables policies and procedures

  • Responsible for the onboarding of new customers and creditworthiness maintenance of existing customers

  • Responsible for the timely collections of receivables based upon credit terms

  • Manage ERP (Great Plains) cash applications

  • Ensure customers provide and meet existing insurance policy requirements

  • Assist with overall organizational efforts to improve collections process

  • Assist as requested with internal control documentation (workflows and narratives)

  • Supervise existing support staff establishing work priorities and monitoring task completion

  • Perform other tasks as needed

    Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a credit/collections supervisory or managerial role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is desirable.

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 system.

• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions.

• Expertise in Collection Processes and Credit Limit setting.

• Strong credit analysis skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Familiar with regulatory standards in credit and collections.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
