Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Video Editor in Woodland Hills, California. The main function of this Video Editor role is to manage and edit video content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company's brand and product. The Video Editor will work closely with creative studio, brand teams, product development teams, and third-party production teams.

Responsibilities of Video Editor:

• Manage and organize project files, B-roll, and creative content across multiple platforms.

• the video editor will oversee the migration of files to the cloud from physical drives to ensure accessibility for cross-functional teams.

• Archive, organize, and manage digital assets in both cloud and local libraries.

• the video editor will edit footage to create compelling narratives, incorporating music, graphics, color grading, and sound effects.

• Oversee the entire post-production process, ensuring all content is ready for use by various creative teams.

• Respond to stakeholder feedback and collaborate with other creatives and departments.

• Audit existing content to ensure adherence to company brand standards.

• Ensure consistency in visual elements and messaging across all video content.

• Configure export settings for various platforms, ensuring optimal quality and compatibility.

• Source, download, and integrate high-quality and royalty-free stock footage, graphics, and music that match the theme and mood of the video content.

• Track sources and obtain necessary licenses and permissions for using stock materials.

• Ensure copywriting and licensing is up to date.

Tools Necessary: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Video Editing.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Video Editing role.

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro is required.

• Demonstrated expertise in video editing and post-production processes.

• Strong understanding of storytelling techniques and narrative structures.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team to understand project requirements and ideas.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Knowledge of the latest video editing trends and techniques is preferred.

• Flexibility to work in different work schedules and on weekends, when necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Broadcasting, or relevant field is a plus. Innovation starts with people.®
