Tier 1 Help Desk Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tier 1 Help Desk Analyst to join our client's growing IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our users, providing prompt and effective technical support for a variety of issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of user-reported technical issues related to:

  • Windows desktops and laptops

  • Windows Servers (basic administration)

  • User account management (basic)

  • Network connectivity

  • Printers and other peripherals

  • Provide clear and concise guidance to users over the phone, email, and in-person

  • Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference

  • Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff for further investigation

  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with users

  • Continuously learn and expand your technical knowledge by staying up-to-date on emerging technologies

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role or related field

  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)

  • Familiarity with basic Windows Server administration

  • Ability to troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues

  • Experience resolving issues with printers and other peripherals is a plus

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests simultaneously, and meet deadlines

  • A passion for technology and a strong desire to learn

  • Active Directory experience is preferred

  • Microsoft 365 experience is a plus

  • Certifications in A+, or CompTIA Network+ are highly regarded (not required)

  • While a Bachelor's degree is not required, experience in a related field is a plus
