Description
Join our dynamic team as a Software Solutions Developer, taking on the responsibility of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. This role empowers you to work independently within guidelines, providing hands-on technical solutions to address business challenges. Enhance and contribute recommendations to Agile/ITIL/SDLC methodology, collaborating directly with users and vendors to understand and document application needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and implement software solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and user expectations.
Work independently within guidelines, offering hands-on technical solutions to address business challenges and translating them into effective process and technical solutions.
Enhance and provide recommendations to Agile/ITIL/SDLC methodology, contributing to a streamlined and efficient development process.
Collaborate directly with users and vendors to articulate and document user application needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of requirements.
Interpret requirements, perform complex analysis, and present recommendations to achieve desired results.
Assist in the development and maintenance of comprehensive technical and user documentation for each system in a consistent and structured manner.
Ensure quality control through unit testing and debugging software for accuracy, completeness, and system integrity.
Interact effectively with users, vendors, and management through verbal and written communication to ensure consistent delivery and use of applications.
Continuously develop skills and expertise in present and emerging technologies through formal training and independent self-teaching and tutorials.
Demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills, efficiently handling multiple dynamic priorities.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in PeopleSoft products (HR, Finance, CRM, Campus Solutions, etc.).
Demonstrated experience in Designer Tools, Data Management Tools, Reporting Tools, Integration Tools, and Application and Tool Versions.
Familiarity with newer PeopleSoft features like Homepages, Activity guides, Tiles, etc.
Knowledge of Web Services, Rest APIs, PeopleSoft Security, STAT, Oracle Database.
Understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture.
Experience in converting functional requirements into technical requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
