Description

We are looking for a medical receptionist to join our team in Johns Island, South Carolina. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a medical receptionist, you will be responsible for managing a multi-line phone system, scheduling, greeting patients, providing superior customer service, and handling data entry and email correspondence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate a multi-line phone system, ensuring all calls are answered and redirected as necessary

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

• Carry out data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly inputted into the system

• Handle email correspondence, responding to emails and forwarding them to the appropriate parties

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word to perform tasks and manage information

• Maintain an organized filing system, ensuring all files are properly stored and easily accessible

• Schedule appointments as needed, managing calendars and coordinating schedules

• Utilize interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook

• Excellent customer service skills

• Experience with data entry tasks

• Familiarity with answering multi-line phone systems

• Ability to organize files efficiently

• Experience in scheduling appointments

• Proficient in email correspondence

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Must have legal right to work in the United States.
