Description
We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team based in Acworth, Georgia, United States. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department. This role is critical in analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, treasury, and budgeting.
• Prepare and present financial forecasting reports, ensuring compliance with the law and company’s policies.
• Analyze complex financial reports and records, making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
• Review and make improvements to budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
• Implement and monitor the month-end close consolidation procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports appropriate for users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
• Evaluate and manage staff performance, workloads and schedules to ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements
• Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience
• Proven track record of managing month-end close procedures
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
• Strong leadership skills and experience in team management
• Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
