Description
Robert Half is looking for a skilled Business Central Developer to be part of a dynamic team that will assist in a software migration process. This person will be actively engaged in various facets of the migration, such as sprint planning, system integration, and the execution of cloud migration strategies.
Post-migration, the successful candidate will subsequently be responsible for fostering system adoption, training sessions, and offering ongoing support. This role presents a unique opportunity to not only actively shape the technological landscape of a company but also, to work within a highly regulated financial processing environment. This contract role will be 100% on site in Addison, IL.
Responsibilities:
Participation in aspects of the migration from Navision to Business Central.
Overview system integration during the migration process.
Formulation and execution of cloud migration strategies.
Ensuring system adoption following the migration phase.
Conducting training for team members on the new system.
Providing ongoing support after the migration.
Collaborating effectively with internal and external teams.
Mentoring junior team members.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Business Central, and extensive experience with cloud migrations and integrations.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and engaging stakeholders.
Mid to senior expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Development and a comprehensive understanding of best practices.
Familiarity with Microsoft coding standards and managing complex data.
Previous experience in a regulated field, with a robust understanding of government regulations.
Ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate efficiently with various teams.
