Robert Half currently has a permanent position open for an experienced Senior Accountant with drive and know-how to join a rapidly-growing team in the North Denton, Texas area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position offers a great long-term growth potential, including a strong compensation and benefits package for the candidate. Major responsibilities

• Full cycle accounting from sales revenue to net income - full P& L and balance sheet preparation.

• Responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, creating detailed reports, and reconciling general ledger accounts.

• Responsible for analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to forecast future revenues and expenses.

• Summarize current financial status by collecting information and assisting in the preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

• Maintain financial security by following internal controls and company policies.

• Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping company financial information confidential.

• Support month-end and year-end close process.

• Understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting, tax and financial regulations.

• Support of internal and external audits.

• Account for and reconcile consolidation of intercompany accounts.

• Maintain fixed asset register and associated depreciation schedules.

• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with financial reporting requirements.

• Experience working with multiple sites and legal entities in multiple states.

• Experience with accounting software and data entry.

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• NetSuite experience preferred.

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
