Your responsibilities in this role

  • Handling preparations for and attending trade shows and conventions

  • Supporting the sales department by promoting company products and services

  • Providing customer service in a kind and professional manner

  • Providing all other Sales Assistant-related duties as needed

  • Composing correspondence and proofreading materials

  • Making arrangements related to travel and meetings

  • Providing order coordination support to ensure the processes are completed

  • Generating sales reports and preparing presentations

  • Providing administrative, technical and clerical support to sales teams

  • Coordinating courses and training internal employees

Requirements

  • Proficiency in data entry

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Proven knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

  • Foundational knowledge in Computer Data Entry

  • Solid understanding of account management

  • Experience with switchboard phones from 1-10 lines

  • Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

  • Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Employer prefers a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field for this position

  • 2+ years of Sales Assistant experience preferred

  • Prior experience coordinating projects, utilizing strong social skills, and working well with all levels of personnel and outside clients and vendors
