Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in AIEA, Hawaii, United States. This role is part of the telecom industry and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting all accounts receivable functions, maintaining customer master information, processing new customer credit applications, and managing risk. Responsibilities:

• Support all accounts receivable functions by processing all transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Perform monthly accounts receivable closing and account reconciliation.

• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the customer master information.

• Evaluate and process new customer credit applications, while consistently monitoring ongoing customer credit status to manage risk.

• Prepare detailed monthly AR Aging Reports for review and tracking of payment status and delinquencies.

• Reconcile, monitor, and process all accounts receivable transactions diligently and in a timely manner.

• Work closely with internal and external personnel to promptly resolve issues related to invoices and payments.

• Utilize accounting software systems effectively and efficiently.

• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites for daily tasks and reporting.

• Perform all billing functions accurately and timely.

• Process and monitor cash activity and check processing in the accounts receivables system.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Strong understanding and capability to execute Accounting Functions

• Extensive experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory

• Demonstrated ability to handle Billing Functions

• Experience in managing Cash Activity

• Proficiency in Check Processing

• Familiarity with various Accounts Receivables systems is desired

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
