Description

In this position, you will support local and field users in a highly visible role that has a positive impact on both the department and the company. This Help Desk Analyst role is based in the Akron, Ohio area and is a long-term contract to permanent opportunity.
How you will make an impact
Respond and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
Contribute IT support for productivity software, operating systems, and a variety of other applications used internally
Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
Diagnose recurring technical issues and implement solutions to address the root of the problems
Requirements - Demonstrated knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment
Firm grasp of basic networking concepts
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
2+ years of prior experience
Proven experience in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
Foundational knowledge in Troubleshoot Hardware
Customer service experience highly desired
General familiarity with Desktop Environment
Good understanding of Hardware and Software
Background working with Computer Hardware
Demonstrated knowledge of End-User Support
Strong familiarity with Troubleshoot
Solid understanding of Google Suite
Desktop Support experience highly preferred
Practical knowledge of Desktop Operating System
Adeptness in Superior Customer Service
Basic Troubleshooting experience
Earlier work involving Desktop Hardware
Good understanding of IT support ticketing systems Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
