Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in Akron, Ohio. This role is crucial in our telecom provider industry, where you will be responsible for providing technical support and training to end-users, troubleshooting a variety of hardware including printers, PC's, laptops, servers, and audio/visual equipment, and maintaining the integrity of IT applications and systems.

Responsibilities • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively • Troubleshoot hardware including printers, PC's, laptops, servers, and audio/visual equipment to ensure optimal performance • Train end users on IT applications and systems, promoting efficient and effective use • Maintain a strong understanding of Windows XP/7 and networking systems to provide comprehensive support and troubleshooting • Utilize various technical skills including Citrix Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware • Collaborate with the team to resolve any technical issues and improve the user experience • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all troubleshooting and resolution steps • Maintain detail oriented and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing detail oriented publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in detail oriented societies. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is essential.

• Experience with Database management is required.

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems is necessary.

• Familiarity with Lotus Notes is expected.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.

• Experience with Active Directory is necessary.

• Understanding of Computer Hardware is expected.

• Skills in Configuration Management are required.

• Previous experience in Deskside Support is necessary.
