Robert Half Title Clerk in Akron, Ohio
Description We are inviting applications for a Title Clerk in the insurance industry, based in Akron, Ohio. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with reviewing closing documents and commitments, typing and reviewing various types of policies, and managing work queues. You will also be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving problem files, and running various reports for clients.
Responsibilities:
• Review closing documents and commitments for completeness and accuracy
• Type and review all products offered within the department including various types of final policies, replacement policies, and servicing policies
• Manage work queues and ensure policies are delivered to customers within client service level agreements
• Monitor files for completeness of lien clearance package and receipt of funds prior to issuing policy
• Handle general internal and external customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Resolve problem files in a timely manner or escalate to appropriate manager or risk management
• Understand and run various reports for clients to maintain the flow of orders and remove aged open orders
• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Customer Service, Data Entry, Documentation, Typing, Closing Documents, and Document Review. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook is essential
• Strong customer service skills are required
• Experience with data entry tasks is desirable
• Familiarity with documentation processes and procedures is necessary
• Typing skills are required, with emphasis on accuracy and speed
• Experience in closing documents is a plus
• Ability to review documents meticulously for accuracy and completeness
