Robert Half Data Analyst II in Alameda, California

Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a certified Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Responsibilities include developing analysis and reporting capabilities and conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. You will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

How you will make an impact

  • Monitor databases for updates and maintain accuracy

  • Analyze data reports regularly, identifying and resolving any mistakes

  • Develop business reports that provide insight into key data points

  • Develop business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department

  • Convey the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers

  • Help other departments reach their goals by providing analysis

  • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports

  • Identify changes in financial and business trends by monitoring data Requirements - Skilled in written and verbal communication to effectively relate data to coworkers

  • One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst

  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

  • Detail oriented, able to notice small details that could impact results

  • Analytical skills that can develop data-driven reports

  • Superb critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve business problems

  • Familiarity with business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow

  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs

  • Ability to use data tools to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
