Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Alameda, California
Description We are offering an opportunity for a diligent Bookkeeper in Alameda, California. The role primarily involves maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role operates in a dynamic workplace environment and provides a chance to engage in an assortment of administrative tasks in the telecom industry.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
• Administer all facets of the Month End Close process.
• Utilize QuickBooks for the input and processing of all financial data.
• Responsible for data entry across various platforms and systems.
• Ensure all payments are completed on time (including accounts payable and bank deposits).
• Organize and maintain financial records for audit purposes.
• Update and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Strong bookkeeping skills
• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll processing
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Relevant certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation (preferred)
