Description
Colleen McAuliffe of Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a company's rapidly growing team. Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable Clerk will include matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. Responsibilities
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Conduct full-cycle A/P
Carry out additional projects as required
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Requirements - Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
ADP Workforce Now experience highly desired
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Benefits coordination experience preferred
Deep understanding of Onboarding
Payroll experience
3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Highly organized and self-motivated
