Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Associate for our client who is located in Albany, New York. We are seeking a Full-Time Accounting Associate to play a key role in supporting the clients Finance Department. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about making an impact, we want you to join their dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Duties:
Serve as the primary contact for vendors.
Process vendor invoices, including matching purchase orders, verifying prices, and coding.
Manage credit card payments for invoices when necessary.
Perform weekly check runs and reconcile payments.
Assist in month-end closings and prepare documentation for annual financial audits.
Process check requests and maintain petty cash.
Record and track all transactions.
Requirements
Requirements:
-This position is FULLY on-site
-High School Diploma with at least 6 months of accounting/AP experience
